40 years of hidden wilderness

Daegwallyeong Sky Ranch with Fun and Ride
The sky ranch, surrounded by Daegwallyeong Samyang Ranch, boasts a vast grassland that is four times larger than Yeouido. Since 1974, it has been defending Daegwallyeong along with Samyang Ranch, but it only functions as a dairy cow ranch, and has never been made public for tourism purposes. Recently refurbished and opened for the first time, unveiled.
Sky Ranch with various walks and walkways
A ranch official introduces Daegwallyeong Sky Ranch as a nature-compliant ecological ranch where visitors can experience nature directly. It literally means to exclude artificial ones as much as possible and to feel and experience the nature of the ranch. The facilities and nature trails were also eco-friendly so that people could have more intimate contact with the ecology and nature of the ranch. Thus, unlike other ranches, they minimized the installation of fences and did not install separate wooden decks on the trails.

The ecological environment of the ranch, which has been well preserved for the past 40 years, attracts travelers. Dozens of species of wild flowers and rare plants grow wild throughout the ranch. Depending on the season, native plants such as helm flowers, roe deer, bee vines, primroses, irises and widower flowers form a cluster of places.

Walk, ride and run through the meadow
At Sky Ranch, all vehicles except ambulances are restricted. This is also different from the nearby ranch. You can park your car in the parking lot and walk slowly or enjoy the meadow in a different way.
If you are tired of the forest and enjoy the vast meadows, we recommend walking. Sky Ranch has four different trails, depending on the theme. 1.8km of 'Landscape Landscape' resembling a pilgrimage route in Santiago with lots of grassland, 2.2km 'Edge Forest Road' leading to Seonjaryeong, 350m 'Forest Summer Road' where trees in the forest tunnel, and rare plants and wildflowers It is a 600m 'often walking path'. You might want to take a nap while buried in the grass that rises to your knees. A mat is a place for picnics everywhere.

From the observatory, you can see not only the ranch view, but also the view of Hoengye-eup, nearby resorts and ski jumps. From the observation deck, it is also connected to Seonyeong-ryeong, which is famous for Daegwallyeong trekking course. You can also enjoy the beautiful Seonyeongreak trekking in the cozy wild forest.

You can enjoy meadows on horseback as if you were a nomad in Mongolia. If you have horse riding experience, you can go out on the grassland for 2-4 hours. The person who leads this experience is a Mongolian young man who speaks Korean well enough to be misunderstood as a Korean. Even if you don't have to go to Mongolia, it is a fresh experience to ride the grassland while listening to Mongolian life. If you've never rode a horse, you can go horseback riding on a flat track.

If you go to the flocks field at the beginning of the ranch, you can go inside the fence and jump with the flocks. At the baby zoo, you can also feed calf, foal, and baby sheep. Straw grass field and grass field are both natural playgrounds where you can roll around and jump freely.
