It is also a pleasure to ride a sled pulled by a Siberian husky, which shows the instinct of a gallop on a snowy field. It is more popular because it allows you to leave a commemorative photo with a real brownie (Siberian Husky) that is more realistic than a ‘genuine brownie’.

Another festival-like fun, to Taebaeksan Snow Blossom Mountain
Taebaeksan Snow Festival is held at Taebaeksan National Park. It's a pity to pass Taebaek Mountain. What's more, if it snows, how much do you pass by the dazzling snowflake that has dazzlingly beautiful snowflakes and white snow!
In Taebaeksan, bright pink azaleas form a line in spring, and snow-white snowflake is spectacular in winter. The main peaks are Janggunbong Peak (1,567m), Munsubong Peak, and Busobong Peak, which extend from north to south. The trail to climb the Taebaek Mountain is largely divided into the Danggol Course and the Yuilsa Course. The billiard course has the advantage of having a lot of sights, and the only course has the advantage of being easy to climb for both men and women due to the gentle slope. If you climb up the only course and descend to the Danggol Course, you can enjoy the true nature of Taebaeksan Mountain.
Hiker crossing the Taebaeksan yew community
The only course can reach the summit in 2 hours or so, about 4km to the top of Taebaeksan Mountain. The steep mountain path from the ticket office to the only resting place leads to zigzag. It's a breathtaking section, but it's easy to go uphill to the Cheonjedan just to the only resting place. It is difficult to breathe due to the difficult climb, but the sky and the Baekdudaegan ridge between the forests gradually enter the field of view. As the summit approaches, it passes the attention colony of 'Alive, Thousand Years of Death, Thousand Years of Death'. The deep blue life is intense on the branches of attention standing tall in the wind.

After passing the attention colony, it reaches the peak of Janggunbong. At the top of Janggunbong, there is an altar made of stones. Together with the generals of Janggunbong, the bottom of the road to Yeongbong's Cheonwangdan and Busobong is also called the Cheonjedan. It is an altar established by ancestors for a long time to perform sacrifices in the sky. Even among the stacked stones, the snowflake blooms white and looks like a large igloo. Put the thrilling snow scene in your eyes and go down to Dangol Valley through Danjonggak, Mangyeongsa and Banjae. The Hassan Course is 4.4km and takes about 2 hours.

500 km long journey of water, Hwangji Pond and Geomryongso
The Han River and the Nakdong River are the representative rivers of Korea. Taebaek is the origin of these two rivers, and the site of more than 500 km of water begins. The Nakdong River originates from the Hwangji Pond, passes through the gate to the Namhae, soaking the fields of Gyeongsangnam-do and North Korea, and the Han River flows from Geomyongso to the West Sea through Chungcheongbuk-do, Gyeonggi-do, and Seoul, the capital of Gangwon-do. The symbolism of the origin of the two rivers alone is a must in the Taebaek tour.
Nakdong River Origin, Hwangji Pond
Hwangji Pond is located in Hwangji Park in the center of Taebaek city. The large cover stone, “Starting from the 1,300-liter example of the Nakdong River,” indicates that it was the birthplace of the Nakdong River. The large pond inside the park surrounded by buildings is the Hwangji Pond. Hwangji Pond, which retains the legend of the greedy emperor, flows more than 5,000 tons of water a day to the south.
Way to Geomryongso

Geomryongso, beyond Samsuyeong, is 1.5 km from the entrance of the parking lot. The road is flat and the forest is lush, making it ideal for trekking. After meeting the trees that keep the story, such as mountain mulberry, hawthorn, yellowwood, ash, and ash trees, after passing through a small wooden bridge, a path leading to the forest of Japanese oak trees, often called larch. The snow scene of the Japanese oak tree forest road lined up in a row is beautiful. Geomryongso is spring water from limestone caves that rises to 2,000 tons per day. There is no freezing around Geomryongso with an average water temperature of 9 ℃. Even in the middle of winter, it seems as if the dragon is still alive. The stream that started at Geomryongso flows down as a small cow, and finally begins within the sea of the West Sea.
