Majestic Sunrise Rising Through Skyscrapers

Ride the Seoul subway and go on a sunrise trip into the city center

Korea, Seoul

I thought it was best to see the sunrise rise sharply above the sharp horizon. I really believed so. Well, I met a nice sunrise where I didn't really expect. In Seoul, where I visited the subway. It was one of the nicest sunrises I've met in the last decade. Prepared for those preparing for the New Year sunrise trip. Sunrise trip to downtown Seoul, leaving by subway.
Beautiful and colorful as night view, Maebongsan Park sunrise
Maebongsan Park is a neighborhood park built around Maebongsan Mountain that spans Seongdong-gu, Yongsan-gu, and Jung-gu, Seoul. The official name is Maebongsan Mountain in the Eungbong Neighborhood Park. The sunrise point of Maebongsan Park is the octagonal ridge that stands on top of Maebongsan Mountain. Although it is an octagonal pavement on the top of the mountain, only 174m above sea level, Maebongsan Mountain has a gentle slope and well-maintained stairs and trails, making it easy for anyone to climb. From the entrance of Maebongsan Park, you can walk 15 minutes to Palgakjeong Pavilion.

Acha Sunrise Point is a sunrise square built on the mountainside. It is 1.5km from Mt. The stairs leading up to the camel ridge are a bit steep but are not very difficult. Street lamps are installed in many places, so there is less burden on the dark dawn. Climb the Camel Ridge to see Goguryeo-jeong and climb the short rock section to get to the Sunrise Square. There are two observation decks around the rock. Tip one here. From the direction of progress, the observation deck on the left can see the dawn of the city, and the observation deck on the right can see the sunrise in harmony with the Han River. So if you want to see both of them at the same time? The first answer is right behind Sunrise Square. Climb up to a hill-shaped tower, and you can see the Han River, Gangnam area, and Bukhansan mountain in the front. There are only 30m of altitude difference between the 4th and 1st base of Acha Mountain, so if you find Mt. There is a sunrise observatory with a good view to the right and Daeseongam from the crossroad where the rocky section begins at the sunrise square.
