Steps suddenly reach the Nurimaru APEC House. As soon as you step inside, it is Kim Kyu-jang's masterpiece <Twelve Jangsaengdo>. When a fine teacher went to Mt. Gaya in the last years, he passed through this place and left the word “Haeundae” on a large rock under the cliff against the beautiful scenery. The name continues to this day. The stone carvings seen between camellia trees are in a state where the luck is somewhat worn out after experiencing the weather for many years.

A tattoo called Jeongpo (1309-1345) in the Goryeo Dynasty also left a number of poems after visiting Haeundae. "Dae is devastated and there is no trace, only the name of the shipping remains." It is a sign that it was called Haeundae 700 years ago.

Even after turning around, the feast of camellia flowers continues. The acquaintance, who said, “If you want to feel the spring of Busan in full body, take a walk around Dongbaek Island,” was never empty. With the camellia forest on the right side and walking towards the starting point, a bad smell like a sewer irritates the nose. Some say it smells like chicken. It is the scent that spreads through the white flowers of Sasraepi amongst the camellia forest.

Sasrefi trees grow on the coast of Dongbaek Island and bloom in March-April. Even if the smell is bad, it is not only a matter of passing through the nose to sterilize and calm down. A mermaid statue can be found along the waterfront walking deck along the coast below the promenade.

It is only 900m to the front of the Westin Chosun Busan Hotel, which was the starting point of one round trip around Dongbaek Island. Would a boxer say that he has just gotten warm? Go to the top of Dongbaek Island where the remains of the teacher Choi Chi-won are. The camellia forest is sloping to the left and right of the gentle hill road, and tall pine trees prevent the warm spring sunlight. When you reach the summit, there are octagonal pavilions called Haeunjeong and monuments to the left and right around the statue.

Camellia flowers are also in full bloom around the statue, blocking the noise and waves of the city. Gugudae only hears the sound of pigeons and the chirping of white-eyes. A bench sits on the edge around the park. Sitting on a shaded bench, I hear the sound of camellia flowers falling and the spring flowing. Goun Choi Chi-won heard this sound first and left a poem called <Spring Dawn> to posterity travelers.
