K-Style Hub Meets Korea's Allure

Jung-gu, Seoul, Korea

Modern man lives in a flood of information. Nevertheless, many people are thirsty for real information. Why? Isn't it because information comes to life only when it is connected to the person who needs it? Modern people living in a society where travel is routine and online 24 hours a day are no exception.
K-Style Hub, which opened on April 11, is a new style hub that can show Korean taste and fashion to both Koreans and foreigners. Experience of Korean food and Korean culture, as well as travel information on every corner of Korea, the best veteran travel experts in Korea provides one-on-one travel counseling services.
K-Style Hub, located in the office building of Seoul Tourism Organization, Jung-gu, Seoul, consists of 1,300 pyeong of space on four floors. On the second floor, you can get information on Hallyu and medical tourism, as well as travel information in every corner of Korea. Provide tourism information using Korea's advanced information and communication technology (ICT). If you miss the analog information, you can consult the information desk.

In addition, you can experience Korea's travel destinations right in front of you at the Oculus Experience Center using Virtual Reality (VR), as well as the lively photography corner with Hallyu stars such as Psy using Augmented Reality (AR).
VR experience
You can also enjoy skiing at the Pyeongchang Olympic Ski Jump, which will be held in Gangwon-do in 2018. If you can tolerate some dizziness, like a real ride.
K-Star Photo Zone
Take the escalator to the third floor. Korean Food Experience Center is located. It is also a space to learn about Korean food and food culture through Korean seasons and customs using Korean ICT technology. Along the entrance walls built with traditional Korean timber stacking methods, our seasonal foods printed on Korean traditional grate doors and windows are neat and stylish.
24 seasons and three customs
In the air at the far end of the 24 seasons passage, you can hear a drop of water dropping onto the pottery head and its waveform is projected on the wall. It is a moment when water, the source of life, which is so common and never felt its presence, feels mysteriously.
Head and Ingredients
You can then touch the various cereals, beans and spices in Korea and smell them with your nose. Behind the experience table, Jangdogdae brings back memories of Jangdogok that you played while playing hide-and-seek as a child. The voice yelling, "Hide it, I see your hair," wanders in my ears.
Traditional Changdokdae
On the other hand, three kimono cubes are placed in the middle of the exhibition hall.
Media show using Onggi lid
In the first cube, it is an experience space where you can open our seasonal ingredients one by one as you open the medicine cabinet drawer. The chest of drawers filled with harvested seasonal ingredients resembles our traditional barn. Next to it is a scarecrow hologram, standing alone in an empty rice paddy after an autumn harvest.
Cube that introduces the characteristics of Korean food
In the second cube, you can turn the handle by hand and read the book about Korean food, and the 9-sided Korean plate on our lacquer plate is round and round, and next to it is a modernization symbolizing harmony and balance of Korean food. There is a traditional Hansang experience corner. Again, turn the handle to line up the colors underneath the food, and the four foods are neatly laid out on a wide plate. It is a modernized Korean style dress considering balanced color and balanced nutrients and calories.

The final cube is a fixture symbolizing the value of convergence, one of the characteristics of Korean food. We show the charm of our bibimbap, that is, the beauty of fusion, which makes good use of the characteristics of unique ingredients while mixing and blending together to create a new taste through a work that sublimates various ingredients into artistic beauty.

Arirang resonates from the left side, and images form on 96 caps. Various patterns of Korean food and various foods that accompany them are projected, and the four seasons of Korea are depicted in ink paintings on the wall and over the fence. Korea's advanced ICT convergence technology utilizes our traditional Onggi to create beautiful works of art.
