Every time one's dream is blurred, everyone remembers his childhood when he thought he wanted to become an animation director or cartoonist. When you visit the Seoul Animation Center, you can learn how to make animations that we didn't know, watch animations, and watch comic books until we get tired and go back to childhood.
Stop motion animation made by myself

The first thing to go to the Seoul Animation Center is a stop motion animation production experience. Let's start with the meaning of stop motion. After moving the object one inch at a time and repeating the process of shooting again, the video shows the moving effect of the object. If you make a character with clay (clay) and shoot it, it becomes 'Clay Animation', if you make a doll with various materials such as silicone or urethane, and you shoot it, it becomes 'Puppet Animation', and if you use any object as a character, it becomes 'Obje Animation'. Others include sand (sand) animations, which are sometimes seen on CF, and paper animations where a joint is drawn after drawing on paper.

Stop motion shooting scene
We make characters with clay and make videos by following the production principles of stop-motion animation, but not only children but also adults accompanying us are not happy.
Dooly Family Character
When you apply for the experience, you will be given a clay of five colors (red, blue, yellow, black, white). If you look around the experience room, there are many popular anime animation characters such as <Baby Dinosaur Dooley>, <Black Rubber God>, and <Pororo>. Choose the character you want to create, or start creating your own character.

If you want to model the exhibited characters, you can follow the instructions in order, referring to the information attached to the workbench.
Kioka character
By mixing five colored clays, you can create many different colors. When white is added to the basic color, it becomes a clay with a light tinge, and black to make a dark color.
Various characters
If you have completed your own character, go to the next set. There are also many types of miniature sets, such as car racetracks, white snow-covered polar regions, Pororo houses, soccer fields, and palm-sized beaches.
Kioka set
Choose one of them and put your own character. Moving the position of the character little by little, a total of 20 pictures are taken. At this time, you can create more interesting animations by appearing with the characters created by your friends or by decorating the story.
Bed room set
After taking a picture, he goes through the editing process of choosing a good picture. Subsequently, the names of the directors, any directors, and so on, will be given names. This time, my heart is thrilled that he debuted as an animation director.
Soccer field set field
In this way, if you upload 20 photos for 15 minutes and upload music that fits your mood to your own video, one stop motion animation is completed. After shooting, you can take your own character home.
Snow Country Set
Even if you don't have any experience, there are various character exhibits, exhibition halls, and animation theaters on the first floor of the Animation Center, so you can take a commemorative photo and watch a cartoon movie, so you can get in touch with it. The most recently created exhibition room, which is loved by visitors, is the Snowball World with Kioka. Trapezoidal paths for board games are made on the floor, and cute pictures of Kioka and friends live on the wall. If you look up at the ceiling with your head up, it seems that the big snowy eyes are going to pour down quickly.

In the Animation Center, the secret restroom is the character bathroom. In the women's bathroom mirror, the background changes when the button is pressed, and flies fly to the display panel in the urinal of the men's bathroom.
Cartoon characters
Opposite the entrance to the bathroom, cartoon characters of memories such as Im Keun-jung, a primitive boy Toby, and a medallion of Meong-seo-dang, born by famous cartoonists such as Doo-ho Lee, Shin-su Lee, and Seung-woon Yun, enter the clean frame instead of inside a comic book to greet visitors.

Plop into the world of cartoons
If you go out of the stop motion animation production experience and go to the building on the right, it is a manga museum with a signboard of 'Manga House'. It is a must-visit spot for manga enthusiasts. The first floor consisted of a library information room and the second floor consisted of an animatronic zone. If you leave with your ID card, you can fall into the reading scene without any interference from 9 am to 6 pm (but Mondays and legal holidays are closed).
Library Information Room Landscape
The Book Information Room, located on the first floor, is a small library that holds more than 40,000 books related to cultural contents such as cartoons, animations, games and characters from foreign countries as well as cartoons published in Korea. It can be read only in the library information room, and external loans are not permitted. If you look at the viewers passing through the bookshelves while breathtakingly standing in various places in a comfortable position, I'd like to say, 'There is a calm place in the middle of Seoul'.
Cartoon staring girl
Anytoon Zone has over 7,000 video materials, including domestic and foreign cartoons and animation-related videos and DVDs. You can borrow materials and watch them in one-person or two-person screenings. In particular, two-person screenings are great for lovers to sit side by side and appreciate the work. A group of 10 or more people (about 30-40 people) will be provided with a mini theater. Also, on the weekends, the animation works are shown 2-3 times a day in a regular screening format.
Annie Toon John's Video Watching Room
At the entrance of the Anytoon Zone, be sure to take a look at the old manga room scenery decorated with paper dolls. Elementary school students reading comic books around briquette stoves, middle school students choosing comic books from school uniforms in uniforms, uncles who sneak into the rocks at the creek, and children who pass the bookshelf to sell in the shade of trees ... If you try to open one by one, the old thoughts come to mind and laughs. 'Oh, I was so happy back then.'
