Good during the day! Better at night! One early summer's dream, palace outing
Jongno-gu, Seoul, Korea
There are many ways to enjoy a 500-year history tour of Joseon in Seoul. Perhaps one of the first hands is the palace where the king of Joseon Dynasty stayed. The four main palaces in the Joseon Dynasty that remain in Seoul are Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace, and Deoksugung Palace. They open the night landscape under the name of night viewing. Jongno, Daehak-ro, and Gwanghwamun walk through the downtown of Seoul, and the night view of the palace that passed by is very popular. That's because it closes as soon as you start buying tickets every night. If you missed this special tour, take a look at the day and night scenery of the palace and try your next special tour. Clearly, it is our proud history that is unfortunate and unfortunate to see only at night.
Gyeongbokgung Palace
Gyeongbokgung Palace, located on the perfect Baesan Forest with the water of Buakak Mountain to the north and Cheonggyecheon Stream to the south, has the meaning of “a great blessing from the sky”. The main gate of Gyeongbokgung is the famous Gwanghwamun.

It was founded in 1395 by Taejo Lee Seong-gye, and was destroyed in the Imjin War in 1592.

When you enter Gyeongbokgung Palace, you will find the King's living space, political facilities, sponsorship, queen's living space, Junggung, and Seja's Donggung. Unfortunately, during the Japanese colonial rule, most of the cigarettes were demolished and only a few buildings remained, including Geunjeongjeon. The Gyeongbokgung Palace filled with large and small palaces can be looked at from the core spaces such as Gwanghwamun ~ Heungryemun ~ Geunjeongmun ~ Geunjeongjeon ~ Sajeongjeon ~ Gangnyeongjeon ~ Gyotaejeon.

You may have heard the word Heungcheong Mangcheong. This word came from Yeonsan-gun, and [Heungcheong] refers to parasites who were drafted into the palace for entertainment in Yeonsan-gun. At the time of Yeonsan-gun, there was a government office called “Chae Hongsa,” which selects a woman with a beautiful appearance at eight degrees across the country. At that time, it was Gyeonghoeru that was the place that made a sound with Hungcheong.
Gyeonghoeru was used as a national banquet hall
Gyeonghoeru was a banquet place for kings to entertain foreign gods or to publicize them. We visit Gwangjeongjeon, the king's political space, Gangnyeongjeon, the king's settled and resting official resting place, Gyotaejeon, the queen's settled, and the supporting Ami Mountain, and Hyangwonjeong, which enjoyed relaxation and style. It is also added that the space where the woman stayed was decorated with flower walls.

It is good to take a break from the heat, but after going around the commentary and Gyeongbokgung Palace, the study of history becomes a temple.

Geunjeongmun, the main gate of Geunjeongjeon in Gyeongbokgung Palace
Palace dug into nature, Changdeokgung
Since 1392, the current capital of Seoul and Hanyang was chosen as the new capital. Soon after, Jeonggung Gyeongbokgung was built, and during the time of King Taejong (1405), Changgung Palace was built.
Changdeokgung Palace Main Gate Donhwamun Gate
It is said that Gyeongbokgung Palace was the main palace, but the kings preferred Changdeokgung Palace. Perhaps it was because of the beautiful sponsorship of Changdeokgung Palace. The patronage of Changdeokgung Palace has been loved as a resting place for the royal family utilizing natural topography.
Recognition exhibition held an important national consciousness
At the time of the Imjin War, the palaces in Hanyang were burned down, and the Gyeongbokgung Palace was not rebuilt because of the ominous ground, but the Changdeokgung Palace was first rebuilt during the Gwanghae (1610). Changdeokgung Palace was used as a palace for 270 years until Gyeongbokgung was rebuilt.
Before selection
As the number of kings staying at Changdeokgung Palace increases, so does the royal family. Seongjong, who was prepared for the preparation of the subdivision, stands for Changgyeonggung Palace right next to Changdeokgung Palace. Even now, Changdeokgung and Changgyeonggung continue through Hamyangmun. In the Joseon Dynasty, it was used without boundaries with Changgyeonggung Palace, and the two palaces were called [Donggwol].
Contrast
Among the existing palaces in Chosun, Changdeokgung Palace, the best preserved archetype, was added as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.
Naksunjae built for Mr. Kyungbin Kim, who Heonjong loved so much
Changdeokgung Palace can be largely divided into support and non-sponsored spaces. Once you enter Donhwamun, the main gate of Changdeokgung Palace and the oldest front door of the existing palaces, after passing the official ceremony of the king and the selection room of the king's office, the queen's living space touches Donggung, the contrasting space and the three educational spaces. After this, it is a support entrance. After passing Hamyangmun, which is located next to the entrance to the patronage, it leads to Changgyeonggung, and further down to the right is Naksunjae, who bears the love of Hyunjong and Gyeongbin Kim. Sponsorship for viewing only with a commentator Don't miss the beautiful pond of Buyong, Buyongjeong, Aeryeonji and Okryucheon, sponsored by the king's secret garden.

The Changgyeonggung Palace that Oro, the pain of the Japanese occupation
Seongjong, the 9th king of Joseon Dynasty, was built on the east side of Changdeokgung Palace in 1483 and used as one palace without borders with Changdeokgung Palace.

Changgyeonggung begins with the establishment of Suganggung for King Taejong in the 1418 Goryeo dynasty's Nangung Palace. Since then, Seongjong expanded and supplemented Suganggung to prepare for the preparation of three people, and named it Changgyeonggung during the construction. It wasn't used in the early stages, but after the Imjin War, Changdeokgung Palace played a role as a palace, increasing its utilization as a palace.

Of course, Changgyeonggung also burned like other palaces in Seoul during the Imjin War. It was rebuilt in 1616 during Gwanghaegun. At this time, the reconstructed Myeongjeongjeon is the most existing blackout building.

Changgyeonggung, which seemed to have survived, becomes asylum during the Japanese occupation. With the intention of annihilating the dignity of the palace and the Joseon Dynasty, Japanese imperialism demolished most of the buildings in Changgyeonggung and established a zoo and a botanical garden. In 1911, even his name was downgraded to Changgyeongwon. Since liberation, it has been trying to revive the original appearance of the palace.

Deoksugung Palace, which buried the history of the old Korean words
Deoksugung, the royal palace of the Korean Empire, was originally the home of Seongjong's older brother Wolsandaegun. Later, the ancestors used it as a palace during the Imjin War, and in 1611, Gwanghae-gun gave it a formal palace called 'Gyeongwoong Palace', which was called Jeongneung-dong Haenggung.
Deoksugung main gate
It was with the establishment of the Korean Empire in 1897 that Gyeongung Palace appeared on the front of history. At its peak, it boasted three times the size of today. Then, as Emperor Gojong retreated, Gyeongwoong Palace changed its status as the residence of the Emperor Seon, and the name changed to Deoksugung. Subsequently, a part of the Gaknaeksa Temple and the Hwangudan were demolished, and their status disappeared.
Seokjojeon, built by Emperor Gojong to use for sedimentation and seizure
After the death of Gojong, the brutality of Japanese imperialism becomes more persistent. The area of Saigon and Proof of War were sold out, and the palace itself was reduced. Afterwards, it was created as a park and released to the public. In the area around Deoksugung Palace, the modern and modern turbulent period of this land permeates every corner.
