Jung-gu, Incheon, Korea

Incheon is the birthplace of Jajangmyeon and Myeonmyeon, a national menu that everyone can enjoy. The geographic advantage of facing the sea and the historical characteristics of the road leading to the entrance of modern civilization during the opening of the port are combined, so the food is unique and rich. sign
It contains real snow crab, soraepogu snow crab bread
Sorae Port, where the memories of the Suin Line narrow gauge train remain. Nowadays, it is more famous as a fish market that is full of aquatic products such as blue crab, shrimp, and salted fish. Sorae Pogu Traditional Fish Market is always full of vitality thanks to the strong voices of the merchants selling fresh seasonal seafood and goods. You can also sit on one side of the marina and eat it after you eat it in the market. Near the fish market is Sorae History Museum, which shows the history of Sorae.
If you've toured the Sorae Pogu Fish Market and Sorae History Museum, it's time to taste the Sorae Pogu specialty bread. On the 1st floor of the Sorae Pogu Fish Market building next to the Sorae History Museum, where there is a narrow gauge train, there is a shop called 'Uljin Daege Bread'. Uljin Snow Crab is located in Sorae Pogu, so it's easy to think of it as a chain store, but surprisingly, this is the main store. The owner of Uljin's hometown, the first crab crab in Uljin, is now headquartered in Soraepogu. The store in Hupo Port, Uljin is a direct store. Sorae Pogu without going to Uljin far, it is also good because you can taste snow crab bread at the main store.
'Uljin Snow Crab' is located right next to Sorae History Museum
If you think that the snow crab bread is just a snow crab shaped bread, like the taiyaki bread, the koi bread, and the chrysanthemum bread, it's misleading. Taiyaki bread does not contain guppy, but crab crab actually contains crab meat. Before you try the taste of bread with snow crab
Snow crab bread with red bean paste and snow crab
Put the red bean paste on the dough mixed with Uljin snow crab powder and snow crab, and bake it in a snow crab mold. The baking method is the same as that of Taiyaki, but the taste is very different. You can feel the crab taste by biting the freshly baked snow crab bread. It is also possible to feel the familiar 'shrimp' taste. Sue

Stars as popular as Jjajangmyeon, Chinatown Onggi and Hongdu
Incheon Chinatown with reddish colors. The signboard in Chinese characters and the Chinese heard here and there are similar, and it makes you feel like you are in China. After the opening of Incheon Port in 1883, the following year, Cheongguk Jogyoji was established. It is the beginning of Incheon China Town. Chinatown was built as Chinese people built Chinese-style houses and dominated the commercial area. In the past, retail stores that handle a variety of Chinese products mainly dominated, but now most Chinese restaurants. As the place where Jajangmyeon was born for the first time in Korea, it is crowded with tourists who want to taste Jajangmyeon and various Chinese food on weekends. When you enter the main street of Chinatown, you often see people lined up in long lines.

Onggibyeong is one of the most popular food items in Chinatown today. It is baked in a large pot shaped like a pot, so it is also called a pot-shaped dumpling in Korea.
Onggi before entering the furnace
Although they are called dumplings by adding beef such as minced meat and vegetables in the dough, they have a completely different shape and texture from ordinary dumplings.
A pot that looks like a pot for baking pottery
It is like a bread because it is baked on the wall of a fire pottery pot. The outside is crispy and the inside is chewy. Depending on the ingredients inside, you can taste four types of Onggi, such as meat, sweet potato, sweet pumpkin, and red beans.

Hong Du-Byeong is the new star that has emerged as a popular snack in Chinatown along with Onggi. Roast a lot of sweet cows such as red beans, mango, cream cheese, and dark chocolate in the dough. You may think, “Why is it Japanese-style Imagawa-yaki in Chinatown?” But as you can see from the border staircase of the Cheongil Jogyeji Temple, looking back at the history of Chinatown where Chinese and Japanese culture coexisted,

The snack street is like a fairy tale, Songwol-dong Fairy Tale Village Dolphin Pizza
A short walk from Chinatown brings you to Songwol-dong Fairy Tale Village. Unlike Chinatown, which was a reddish heaven and earth, the colorful scenery unfolds. Unlike many mural villages across the country, the feature is that it is decorated with the theme of “fairy tale”. Fairy-tale heroes, such as Snow White, Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, and Wizards of Oz, are accustomed to everyone in the village. The fairy-tale scenery that fills the residential area arouses conscience not only for children but also for adults.

As you walk through Donghwa Village, you will encounter some snacks. Among them, 'Dolphin Pizza', which goes well with the concept of Donghwa Village, stands out. Dolphin Pizza shop is located on the hillside overlooking Donghwa Village. Dolphins with a three-dimensional feel as if they are about to pop out of the spot are occupying the center of the signboard.
Dolphin pizza shop decorated with the theme of dolphins
Originally, this place had an old house decorated with dolphins. According to President Song Wol-dong, the native president, even if the old building is demolished and rebuilt, the theme of the site should remain the same. So the building was newly built, but the dolphin theme was saved.
Dolphin-shaped bread frame developed by you
Instead of just decorating the building with dolphins, we went one step further and developed a dolphin-shaped pizza. We made a dolphin bread frame and combined pizza, a menu that everyone, men and women, can enjoy together. Dolphin Pizza, a snack suitable for Donghwa Village, was born.
Dolphin Pizza
Put the dough in a dolphin-shaped bread mold and put the stuffing such as cheese into it. The appearance is similar to that of Taiyaki, and the taste is similar to that of pizza. You can choose between bulgogi flavor and corn cheese flavor.
