The spring breeze drinks a cup of hot coffee on the beach. The harmony of the sea and coffee enhances the value of relaxation. In order to enjoy the early spring time, we leave for Gangneung, the city of sea and coffee. Instead of the bustle of Gangneung Port (Anmok Beach) cafe street, which is already well known, the destination is Yeongjin Beach, which is well-known for knowing. Enjoy a half-day stroll at Yeongjin Beach, a place where you can relax and enjoy the calm springtime.

As is the case with Gangneung, there are more and more cafes on the beaches of Gangneung. In the old days, Gangneung Port Cafe Street was the center, and now you can find cafes on various beaches in Gangneung. Some prefer Gangneung Port Café Street, where many cafes are crowded, while others prefer quiet, quiet beachside cafes. Sacheonjin Beach and Yeongjin Beach are the places that many people with the latter taste find. If Gangneung Port Café Street is a big star, is Sacheonjin Beach and Yeongjin Beach an indie star with mania fans?

Yeongjin Beach is located between Jumunjin Port and Sacheonjin Port. It is also the place where 12 courses of Baugil from Sacheonjin Beach to Jumunjin pass. On the shore of Yeongjin Beach, you can see the tranquil Yeongjin Port on one side and the bustling Order Port on the other. Yeongjin Beach has wide sandy beaches, clean, and light blue. The water is even brighter on sunny spring days. The water is shallow and the water is clean, so the floor is clearly visible. It is good to walk the trilogy while enjoying the warm sun. Soft sand and gentle spring light tickle the mind. There aren't many people, so it's great to enjoy a relaxing walk in spring. There are not many cafes on the beach of Yeongjin, which looks like a peaceful fishing village. But it is also a special place with the history of Gangneung Coffee. Gangneung is a pioneer in establishing the city of coffee and Bohemian, one of Gangneung's two great mountains, is located on a small hill near Yeongjin Beach. If you enter the village from the beach, you can taste savory coffee in Bohemian, which is run by Park Yi-chu, a master of coffee.

In front of Yeongjin Beach is 'Cafe Brazil' which started its business in 2008. A modern two storey building catches the eye. In the early days, single-storey houses were remodeled and operated as cafes. I roasted fresh coffee every day, serving high quality coffee.

In the fall of 2013, it was transformed into the same stylish two-story building. Both the 1st and 2nd floors are equipped with glass windows, so you can see the sea at a glance. There is also a large outdoor terrace on the ground floor.

As you enter the room on the first floor and order a cup of coffee, you'll notice the words on the wall. "Coffee is as black as the devil, as hot as hell, as pure as an angel, as sweet as love." Swallow a cup of hot and sweet coffee in your hand.

Cafe Brazil's main character is not just coffee. Cool sea views co-star. The same is true on the first floor, but on the second floor, a panoramic view of the ocean over the tall glass is spread out.

While walking on the beach and looking at the sea from the front, the sea is beautiful, but the sea overlooking from a high space is also fascinating. Sipping warm coffee and admiring the sea so that your eyes are cold. Where do you want to see this eye again?

If you're unhappy with a cup of coffee, you can go to the marshmallow and squid bread shop on Yeongjin beach. After walking out of Café Brazil, you will see a small two-story building with the big word squid bread. This shop features specialty breads made with Jumunjin's famous squid.

The word squid bread stimulates curiosity. How does squid bread taste? The size is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. Small but with everything from fins to eyes and legs. It's not just appearance. Inside is a real ordered squid.

If you think that the bread with red bean paste is 'there'll be there,' it is a miscalculation. Let's get rid of the preconception that squid and bread don't seem appropriate. Squid and bread create a harmonious taste. Contains squid powder and squid extract, as well as real squid. If you take a bite, savory squid and sweet bread taste at the same time. One by one, two go hand in hand.

The second floor is decorated with a cafe, overlooking the sea, with squid bread and coffee or tea. There is also a squid bread experience where you can draw your own pictures on squid bread.

If you still have some regrets to leave this sea, let's go get a meal. There is also a homemade burger shop on Yeongjin Beach that is emerging as a cafe these days. Winnie Burger is a 2-minute walk from Juicy and Squid Bread Shop towards Jumunjin. There are many local burgers in Gangneung because you can taste a variety of homemade burgers in a busy atmosphere.

More than 10 burgers are available, including the most basic Winnie Burger with thick patties and fresh vegetables, the unique Sweet Pine Burger made with Donut Burn instead of hamburger buns, Winnie Cajun Burger and BBQ Egg Burger. Among them are wine burgers with garlic wine sauce and mozzarella cheese burgers that flow like a waterfall. If you feel overwhelmed with cheese, you can choose a hot chili burger with a spicy flavor. Depending on your taste, you can add toppings such as mozzarella cheese, pineapple, patty, egg, and jalapeno.

Winnie Burger consists of a small first floor where ordering and cooking takes place and a spacious second floor with unobstructed sea views. Enjoying a burger while looking out the sea through a large window doubles the taste. On a warm spring day, you can sit on the outdoor terrace to take a break from the tickling sea breezes and the sound of the last wave.
