Drive trip while looking at Anmyeondo

Boryeong, Chungnam, Korea

The most common way to get to Taemyeon's Anmyeondo is to cross the Seosan AB district shelter from Hongseong IC of the West Coast Expressway. If you follow the coastal road south of Gongnipo-gu before Seosan AB Earthquake began, the Namdang Port and Cheonbuk Guldan are well known for their fresh and abundant seafood, as well as Hongseong's Sokdong Observatory, Hongseong Embankment Observatory, and Chungcheongsu Swimming Coastal Observatory. Meet the observation deck that contains scenery. Also waiting for meaningful landmarks, such as Chungcheong-Soo-Sungseong, which was called Ocheon-Sung, the tomb of Dr. Lee Ji-Ham, the protagonist of 《Tojeong Secrets》, and Madam Shrine of Baekje. Enjoy a drive tour along the coasts of Hongseong and Boryeong, overlooking Anmyeondo Island.
Coastal road running along Anmyeondo Island, from Gongnipogu to Namdang Port
Most of the tourists who enter the Anmyeondo with the excitement of the summer trip come out of the Honghae IC of the West Coast Expressway and cross the Seosan AB district. But just before crossing the seawall, let's run from Hari Intersection towards the coastal road. It doesn't lead to a single road, but most can run along the sea from Hongseong to Boryeong. It is a road running to the left with only Cheonsu and looking at Anmyeondo, which is like a long and long belt.
If you get off at the Hari Intersection just before crossing the Seosan AB District Embankment, Imhae Tourist Road begins. Imhae Tourist Road is a 16km road from Bugi-ri, Galsan-myeon to Mokhyeon-ri, Eunhae. Among them, 4.1 km from Gongni to Eosari in Seomyeon-myeon is called the West Coast Imhae Tourist Road. It is a beautiful coastal road that extends across the bay.
Scenery at low tide on Mulli Beach
Gongnipogu, a secluded fishing village at the start of the West Coast Imhae Tourist Road, welcomes you first. The wide open mudflat is peaceful just by looking at it. The fishermen who live in the open tideland are also seen. In Gongnipo-gu, there is 'Cheonsu Bay Hanul Floor' with sculptures for fishing on the roof. If you make a reservation here, you can enjoy natural fishing and cage fishing in the marine fishing park.
View from Sokdong Observatory
It is the Sokdong Observatory with the best view of the coastal road after passing Gongnipogu. It is a beautiful view point of Cheonsu Bay and Anmyeondo Island. Originally there was only a two-story observatory on the coast, but another observatory was installed on the small island, the island, in front of the observatory. Follow the deck path from Sokdong Observatory to Moseom and climb to the top of Moseom. It is called a “Titanic Observation Deck” because it is shaped like a small boat. The tideland of Cheonsuman Bay, where seawater has escaped, is a vast land. Ganwolam can be seen in the distance, and the long Anmyeondo along Cheonsuman Bay divides the sea and the sky. In Sokdong Tidal Flat Village, a tidal flat experience is also possible when the tide is right.
A place called the Titanic Observation Deck
On the coastal road, early cosmos adds to the excitement of a peer-driven trip. The West Coast Imhae Tourist Road passes at Sokdong Observatory and ends at Eosa Intersection. However, the drive tour continues along the National Highway No. 40 through the Namdang Port and Hongseong Dynasty.
Namdang Port Breakwater
Between the seawall and the seawall, from Hongseong seawall to Boryeong seawall
From the Eosa Intersection, take National Route 40 for about 2.5km and it is Namdang Port, famous for Daeha and the new clam. The seasonal seafood is also taking a break from tempo Han Gatjin July and August. Namdang Port, where the bustle has disappeared, is a quiet port that only passes quietly. If it's King Lee, go to the breakwater with a lighthouse that warmly surrounds Namdang Port. It is a breakwater that is large enough to have a two-lane road. When you get near the lighthouse, you can see the panoramic view of Namdang Port. Outside the breakwater, you can still see the long-lasting face and the close-up Jukdo. Jukdo Island floating in the middle of Cheonsu Bay and the orange roofs visible across the coast of Jukdo Island do not leave their eyes for a while.
Hongseong Embankment Observatory
If you pass Namdang Port, you will be off the coast, but it is also the sea for a while. This time, a unique structure emerges. It is a Hongseong Embankment built on the border between Hongseong and Boryeong. On the way from Hongseong to Boryeong, there are two seawalls, which are the Hongseong Fortress that connects Seomyeon-myeon, Hongseong-gun, and Cheonbuk-myeon, Boryeong-si, and Boryeong, which connects Cheonbuk-myeon, Boryeong-si and Ocheon-myeon, Boryeong-si.

When you climb the mountain at the entrance of the Hongseong Embankment, the completion tower of the Hongseong · Boryeong Embankment stands. At the end of the mountain is an observation deck overlooking the Hongseong Embankment. It overlooks the Cheonbuk Guldan Complex, famous for its long straight seawall and oysters. Jukdo Island, which was seen horizontally from the Namdang Port, is more three-dimensional when viewed from the observation deck. On the back side of Jukdo Island, Anmyeondo surrounded like a folding screen.

Chungcheong swimming coastal observatory and Chungcheong swimming
As soon as you cross the Boryeong Seawall and turn right, there is a special attraction. It is the observatory of Chungcheong-Suyeong coastal landscape built on the hillside. ‘Palsaek Boryeong Essay’ refers to eight themes of 《Gwanchon Essay》 by Boryeong Born novelist Lee Mun-gu.
Chungcheong Swim Coastal Observatory from the Boryeong Dynasty
Crossing the road from the parking lot leads to the observatory. It is about 500m to the observatory, and you can climb a steep mountain path for about 20 minutes.
Chungcheong Swim Coast Observation Deck
There are two observation decks. The lower part is an overhanging observatory that protrudes out into the air, and the upper part is another viewing point that can be overlooked from a higher point. Below, the Boryeong Embankment, Chungcheongsuseongseong, Ocheon Port, and Anmyeondo Island and the West Sea are visible. From the observation deck, you can see the ridge of Oseo Mountain from the northeast.
Ocheon Port and Chungcheong Swimming
Bingdo inside the toxic Boryeong Embankment catches the eye. This is the place where Domi and Ms. Domi, who were in the family due to the tyranny of King Gaero of Baekje, left for Goguryeo by boat. There is a dormitory shrine at the foot of the mountain on the northeast side of the observation deck.
A stunning 2nd floor observatory at the Chungcheong swimming coastal observatory
From the observatory parking lot to the port of Ocheon, it is a long time. There remains a historic site No. 501 Chungcheong-Sungseong, originally called Ocheonseong in Ocheon Port. Only the west gate of the castle has a rainbow-shaped trace of Hongyemun, where you can take a look around Chungcheong-Sungseong. The scenery of the Ocheon Port and the Boryeong Seawall from here is quite beautiful.
Hongyemun, the entrance to Chungcheong Suyeongseong
At the entrance to Ocheonseong, there is 'Oyangson Kalguksu', which is well-known as Bajirak Kalguksu and Bibimbuksu. The sun-dried lotus root is made with noodle, which is then ripened, and the thick, chewy noodles are good for bibimbap or clam noodles. In addition to spicy noodles and bibimbap noodles, soybean noodles are also served in summer. It is also unique to have a menu that allows you to taste two noodles together, like Jjajangmyeon and Jjambyeon, which you can taste in half.
Boryeong View from Chungcheong-Sooseong
If you run behind Ocheon Port, you will see Galmaemot Holy Land after a while. If you pass here, the road will be far from the sea, and after a long run through the Tomb of Mr. Lee Ji-ham, you will enter the city of Boryeong.
